You don’t need bolts, nuts, clips, or other fasteners to assemble the shelving unit in a boltless shelving system. The 14-gauge posts have a series of teardrop-shaped holes into which you insert the studs of cross beams. Using a rubber mallet or wooden hammer, you then tap the top of the beam, wedging the studs into the narrower slots.
For a more lightweight and versatile storage option, consider wire shelving. Wire shelving that features chrome plating is highly corrosion resistant. The wire design increases light penetration, which improves product visibility. This design also promotes air circulation, which is beneficial for keeping food fresh.
The open design also ensures that overhead sprinkler systems can disperse water more effectively. Each unit is priced with four shelves, and each shelf is adjustable in 1” increments.
